Step 1: Take a High-Resolution Photo
Take a clear, high-resolution photo of the handwritten letter. Crop out unnecessary borders and keep only the letter content.
Step 2: Set the Paper Size in Inkscape
Open the cropped image in Inkscape.
Go to:
File > Document Properties
Enter the actual paper size and orientation. In this example, the paper is A6, landscape orientation.
Step 3: Trace the Handwriting
Select the image and go to:
Path > Trace Bitmap... > Centerline tracing (autotrace) > Apply

After arranging the paths, return to the Plot page and click Apply. The iDraw H SE will begin plotting the handwriting.
Step 7: Check the Final Result
